Sunderland are looking for a new boss, following the dismissal of Simon Grayson.
And when asked who he wanted to come in at Sunderland, Wilson admitted that he wasn’t about to throw his weight behind one candidate.
“That’s not for me to say (who should come in next),” the defender said.
“We’ll have to wait and see what the powers above say but as players we can only act on the pitch and we’ve definitely got to improve, no question about that.”

Sunderland’s players have been widely criticised for their performances throughout the season so far.
The Black Cats are sat at the bottom of the Championship table, with fears rising that they could be relegated.
Even Grayson’s sacking did little to spark Sunderland into life, with the North East side falling to a 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough in their most recent outing.

Sunderland are expected to appoint their permanent successor to Grayson over the coming days, as they are currently enjoying a two week break from competitive action.
Sunderland are next in action on 18th November, when they take on Millwall at the Stadium of Light.
