Marc McNulty and Stefan Scougall are both set to leave Sheffield United in the summer.
Stefan Scougall and Marc McNulty have both sent messages to Sheffield United fans on Twitter, after being released by the club earlier this week.
Blades earned promotion from League One into the Championship in comfortable fashion this season.
And United boss Chris Wilder has obviously deemed that both McNulty and Scougall have no future at Bramall Lane now.
McNulty and Scougall have now posted messages to Blades supporters, expressing their disappointment at having to leave.
Scougall was kept as part of Wilder’s first-team squad this season, but barely featured in the latter stages of the campaign.
The Scottish attacking midfielder made 25 appearances in the league in total, but was not used after February.
McNulty, meanwhile, was loaned out to Bradford City, before turning to Bramall Lane in January.
McNulty made three appearances for the Blades, but failed to score.
And, despite the pair’s limited impact this season, United fans wished them both well in the future.
