Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has described Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool as a “tough” team on the club’s official website after playing against them on Saturday evening.
Liverpool played out a goalless draw with Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in London.
Although the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners struggled in attack, they were defensively good and kept a clean sheet.
Liverpool were hammered by Real Madrid at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
The Reds are not having the best of seasons and may not even finish in the top four of the Premier League.
Palace defender Guehi, though, still rates Liverpool highly.

The defender said: “I think the team did well. It’s a performance we can be proud of.
“Liverpool are always a tough side to play against.”

Staying positive
Now, Liverpool fans will be understandably disappointed with the draw.
The Reds could not score against a Crystal Palace side who are in danger of getting relegated from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of the season.
However, Liverpool kept a clean sheet.
That is hugely encouraging given that the Reds went down 5-2 to Real Madrid at Anfield just a few days ago after going 2-0 up in the game.
A clean sheet against Palace is something to build on.
