Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella has said that Joao Felix could explode next season if he stays.
Cucurella has said on Chelsea’s YouTube channel that his Blues teammate Felix could be the one to watch out for next season and beyond if he continues to play for the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners.
The 23-year-old, who can operate as a forward, winger or attacking midfielder, is on loan at Chelsea from Atletico Madrid at the moment.
The Portugal international star made the loan move to the Blues in January 2023.
Felix is scheduled to return to his parent club Atletico at the end of the season.
However, there are rumours that Atletico head coach Diego Simeone does not plan to use the youngster in his team ever again.
Felix has made 10 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea during his loan spell.
The 23-year-old has scored two goals in this games.

The Portuguese attacker also made three starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League for the Blues.
Chelsea are having a really torrid season, and it has not helped Felix at all, but perhaps next campaign, under a new and permanent manager, the 23-year-old could flourish.
