West Ham United were beaten by Bournemouth yesterday.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth yesterday, and responded when asked whether his players are currently suffering from a lack of confidence, as quoted by Football.London.
The Hammers entered the 2018/19 Premier League campaign with a real buzz of excitement about them, after Pellegrini brought in nine exciting new signings for around £100 million, but that excitement has been quickly and ruthlessly put to bed after two consecutive defeats.
West Ham sit rock bottom of the Premier League table – and with a trip to the Emirates to take on Arsenal next up on the horizon, these must be worrying times for the club.
Pellegrini spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s defeat yesterday, and gave a short response when asked whether his players are suffering from a lack of confidence, and struggle to handle adversity, as quoted by Football.London:

“Yes, absolutely.”
Pellegrini obviously needs time before his is judged, but the longer the Chilean goes without a win, the more pressure there will be heaped on both him and his team.
