West Ham United forward Javier Hernandez didn’t start particularly regularly at the London Stadium last term.

Manuel Pellegrini’s desire to sign another striker for West Ham United does not look like good news for Javier Hernandez.
West Ham have been linked with both Maxi Gomez and Antonio Sanabria in recent times, with Pellegrini seemingly wanting to add a new number nine.
Radio Galega have reported how Gomez could move to West Ham for £35 million this week, while Marca claim that the Hammers are planning on bidding for Sanabria.
And with Pellegrini eager to bring in a new forward, it may just throw Javier Hernandez’s future back into doubt.

Pellegrini has gone on record to state that the £16 million signing (London Evening Standard) will be a key player under him at West Ham.
However, with Gomez or Sanabria involved and Marko Arnautovic already at the club, it’s hard to see where Hernandez would slot in.
West Ham look likely to line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation next term, and with Arnautovic already ahead of Hernandez in the pecking order, another striking addition could be bad news for the Mexican.
