West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini has been allowed to bring in top target Pablo Fornals.

West Ham brought in Fornals from Villarreal in a transfer worth £24 million last week, and he is expected to play an important role at the London Stadium next season.
And Pellegrini has suggested that Fornals was a key target for his side, as he has been tracking the playmaker for a long time.
“He was a key target we identified some time ago and it is a big positive that we have managed to complete the deal early in the transfer window,” Pellegrini said.
“I would like to thank the board for their support and work in completing the transfer.”
West Ham now have serious competition for places in the attacking areas of their squad.

Fornals should offer Pellegrini even more creativity, with the likes of Marko Arnautovic, Manuel Lanzini and Felipe Anderson already at the club.
West Ham now have the firepower needed to challenge the top seven, and they are expected to make other signings this summer.
Pellegrini may have one eye on strengthening his side’s defence now, as their attacking positions look to be very well stocked.
