West Ham’s new manager is excited by the challenge.
West Ham appointed new manager Manuel Pellegrini yesterday, much to the delight of their fans.
Pellegrini is one of the few managers in the Premier League who also has a Twitter account, and he sent a message out expressing how excited he is to have landed the job.
It is understandable perhaps if West Ham fans are a little worried at seeing Pellegrini on Twitter.
West Ham chief David Gold, vice-chair Karren Brady and the family of David Sullivan have all been involved in various social media faux pas.
Fortunately Pellegrini’s Twitter feed is more corporate than off the cuff, and there are unlikely to be any controversies from the Chilean.
Even so it will certainly be worth Hammers fans keeping a close eye on.
