The West ham United midfielder has really struggled with injuries this season.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini spoke to reporters yesterday, and suggested that Jack Wilshere could return to training next week, although he urged caution regarding the midfielder’s fitness, as quoted by Football.London.
The 27-year-old joined the Hammers on a free transfer in the summer of 2018, after his contract expired with Arsenal, but his season has been hampered by injury, with just four Premier League starts to his name thus far.
It was always going to be a risk signing Wilshere, and as things stand, it is looking like a poor decision from West Ham.
On his day, the 34-capped England international really is a top class player, but he just cannot seem to string together a consistent run of games without suffering an injury.
Pellegrini spoke to reporters yesterday, and suggested that Wilshere could return to training next week, however, as quoted by Football.London:

“Not for the moment. We are going to give him the time to recover 100 per cent. Maybe next week he will start doing some work on the pitch but we must be calm with him, he needs to recover 100 per cent.”
Next up for West Ham is a trip to Cardiff City tomorrow, before they play host to Huddersfield Town next weekend, and judging by Pellegrini’s comments, Wilshere has no chance of returning to action before the two-week international break.
