West Ham United have been linked with Roma’s Edin Dzeko.

West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini has told Football.London that the club aren’t thinking about signing Roma striker Edin Dzeko right now.
The January transfer window may still be more than two months away, but the Hammers are being linked with potential signings, and Dzeko is one of them.
Bosnian hitman Dzeko confirmed his desire to return to English football earlier this week, and a host of clubs have been linked with trying to sign him as a result.
Calciomercato reported on Wednesday that West Ham are looking to bring Dzeko to London, and would be willing to offer him a role behind the scenes once his playing days are over, after he completed a degree in Sports Management.
It’s no great surprise to see Dzeko linked with West Ham, as manager Pellegrini coached him at Manchester City, overseeing his best season with the club, as Dzeko hit 26 goals in the 2013-14 season.
Dzeko moved on to Italy with Roma in 2015, and has been a sensation for Roma, hitting 63 in the previous two seasons and already scoring five in nine outings this term.

He may be 33 in March, but Dzeko – with three goals in two Champions League games this season – knows where the net is, and a reunion with Pellegrini would give West Ham another major goal threat alongside Marko Arnautovic in attack.
Today, Pellegrini was asked about the situation, but told Football.London that West Ham aren’t think about Dzeko right now despite the Chilean knowing him well, and noted that he can’t answer questions about every player linked with West Ham.
“I cannot answer you about the amount of players who are coming in to West Ham,” said Pellegrini. “At least you can talk about five or six players, lots of players want to be here and are linked to West Ham. I know him very well but we are not thinking about him at the moment,” he added.
