West Ham United have made a dreadful start to their Premier League campaign.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini spoke to reporters yesterday, and responded to recent reports that suggested the club’s training ground is inadequate for a Premier League club, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Hammers have made a woeful start to their Premier League campaign, losing all four of their games to date, and they currently sit firmly rooted to the bottom of the table.
When Pellegrini was handed the reigns at the London Stadium this summer, many fans and pundits alike predicted that he would go on to guide West Ham to a top seven finish.
That seems to be merely a distant fantasy now, however.
There have been problems both on and off the pitch, with recent reports suggesting that the first team training ground at Rush Green is severely dated, and not fit for a Premier League side.
Pellegrini, though, responded angrily to those accusations, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“There are absolutely no problems with Rush Green. It is a modern, efficient facility that enables us to do everything we need with the squad in terms of training and preparation for matches. The Club have spent almost £10 million on training facilities over the last couple of years and that investment it set to continue. We have excellent training pitches, which mirror the exact layout, dimensions and quality of our home match pitch at London Stadium. The medical and fitness facilities are first class, and the changing areas for both the players and coaching staff are more than adequate.”
Next up for the Hammers is a tough looking trip to Everton next weekend, and if they fail to pick up any points there, Pellegrini really will be under pressure.
