West Ham United have today confirmed the signature of Fulham right back Ryan Fredericks.

West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has told the club’s official website that he is ‘very pleased’ to have brought in Ryan Fredericks as his first summer signing.
The Hammers are set for a big summer having managed to land former Manchester City boss Pellegrini as their new manager, succeeding David Moyes in the London Stadium hot seat.
Now, West Ham have also secured their first signing of the Pellegrini era, as they have snapped up Fulham defender Ryan Fredericks on a four-year contract.

Fredericks, 25, was born just outside of London and started his career with Tottenham Hotspur, but having failed to make the grade there, he moved on to Bristol City in 2015.
The full back stayed there just 26 days before returning to London with Fulham, and he has become a key player under Slavisa Jokanovic, racking up seven assists from right back this past season.
Despite Fulham winning promotion back to the Premier League, Fredericks has chosen to move on with his contract expiring this summer, but has stayed in London by joining West Ham.

A pacey, attack-minded full back with impressive end product, and new Hammers boss Pellegrini has told the club’s official website that he is ‘very pleased’ with the deal and feels that he still has the best years ahead of him.
“I am very pleased to welcome Ryan to West Ham United as our first signing this summer,” said Pellegrini. “He joins having had a successful season with Fulham and is a player who will bring great qualities to our squad. He has good experience, with more than 150 senior appearances already but, at 25, he is still a young player with his best years ahead of him.”
“Ryan has good character, is hungry to succeed, and has shown me that he has great desire to be a West Ham United player. I look forward to working with him,” he added.
