The West Ham United youngster has been in excellent form this season.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini spoke to reporters ahead of his side’s clash with Huddersfield Town on Saturday, and raved about the quality of Declan Rice, highlighting how much potential the young London-born ace has, as quoted by Football.London.
The 19-year-old has been quite simply superb for the Hammers this season, impressing in the deep-lying midfield role for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
Rice began his career with West Ham, and has progressed through the ranks.
He is now considered to be well and truly an established member of Pellegrini’s side, and there have already been calls for him to be called up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
Pellegrini addressed the media today, and offered high words of praise for Rice, suggesting that the 19-year-old is improving more and more by the day, as quoted by Football.London:

“Declan has a lot of potential. He is tactically very mature, listening, trying to do what he thinks is best. Declan, we always talk to him, he knows he can still improve. If you compare the first game of the season to now, he is improving more and more.”
Rice will surely have a pivotal role to play once again when West Ham head to west Yorkshire to take on Huddersfield Town on Saturday, and if he performs to his very best, his side have every chance of returning to east London with maximum points.
