Jack Wilshere could miss out on playing for West Ham United against Newcastle United at the weekend.

Wilshere has persistently struggled with injury throughout his career, and his time at West Ham has been blighted with them so far.
The central midfielder has worked hard on his fitness over pre-season, and he has managed to avoid any major injuries throughout the season so far.
But the West Ham man is currently nursing a knock, and Pellegrini has admitted that he won’t be risked tomorrow.
“Jack has a small problem but he is not 100 per cent fit so I think, for him, it is a risk for him to come back before he has fully recovered,” Pellegrini said.
Even if Wilshere had been fit it seems unlikely that he would have been given the nod to start for West Ham tomorrow.
The former Arsenal man has been unable to nail down a first-team place with the Hammers during his time at the London Stadium so far.

In Wilshere’s absence, it could be that Mark Noble, Robert Snodgrass and Declan Rice start as West Ham’s central midfield options tomorrow.
The Hammers are under pressure to get the three points, as their form has dropped off after a really promising start to this campaign.
