West Ham United have some wonderfully exciting attacking players on their books.

Manuel Pellegrini manager

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini addressed the media during his pre-match press conference yesterday, and admitted that he is excited at the prospect of seeing four specific players in action together for the first time this season, as quoted by Football.London.

The Hammers have had to deal with an enormous amount of injuries to key players this season, but arguably their best attacking play-maker Manuel Lanzini made his first-team return on Friday night against Fulham.

West Ham currently sit in ninth spot in the Premier League table, and Pellegrini will be confident that his side can crack the top seven now, with the return of the mercurial Argentine.

The Chilean spoke to reporters yesterday, and suggested that the prospect of having Lanzini playing alongside Samir Nasri, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez is an exciting one, as quoted by Football.London:

Manuel Pellegrini the head coach

“In the way we can play together with Lanzini, with Samir Nasri, with Arnautovic, with Javier and the good players that we have, I think we are going to be a stronger team.”

Next up for West Ham is a tough trip to the Etihad to take on Manchester City tomorrow night.

The Hammers then face three very winnable games against Newcastle United, Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town before the two-week international break.

And West Ham fans will be hoping that Lanzini can find his best form quickly, as their side look to make a sustained push for the top seven.
