The West Ham United hitman has been linked with an exit from the London Stadium this month.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini spoke to reporters after his side’s FA Cup win over Birmingham City today, and praised Andy Carroll, insisting that the striker is happy to stay in east London, as quoted by Football.London.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Hammers this month, with the Sunday Post claiming that Celtic are interested in signing him.
With so many injuries at the moment, however, West Ham might just need the big Geordie to stick around.
Pellegrini addressed the media today, and shared how he believes that Carroll will return to his best form, suggesting that the 6ft 4in target man will not be leaving this month, as quoted by Football.London:

“He scored, missed a good chance, cleared two or three difficult balls. He will return to be the player that we know, for sure. He does not want to go anywhere, he is happy here at this club.”
On his day, the former Newcastle United and Liverpool striker really is unplayable, and it would be a great boost for West Ham if he manages to find his best form between now and the end of the season.
Should a firm offer be made for Carroll’s services this month, however, it will be interesting to see how the Hammers respond, with just six moths remaining on his current deal with the club.
