West Ham United take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini addressed the media after his side’s draw with Leicester yesterday, and hinted that he could have three key men back available for selection in time for Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup clash with Tottenham at the London Stadium, as quoted by Football.London.
The Hammers have suffered horrendous luck with injuries this season, and currently have nine first-team players out injured and unavailable for selection.
Pellegrini has an incredibly strong squad of players at his disposal, however, and their performance away at Leicester yesterday was evidence of this.
Still, though, having some key players return to full fitness will be a huge boost for West Ham, and Pellegrini hinted that he could have a few more players to choose from against Tottenham on Wednesday night, as quoted by Football.London:

“Maybe for this week with the cup, Pedro Obiang maybe. We will see tomorrow, he worked today without any problems so maybe he can be fit for Wednesday. We need to continue monitoring the situation with Marko Arnautovic and his virus. Lucas Perez also, I am not sure sure, he has a pain in his foot. The other six we have no option but at least to wait another couple of weeks.”
West Ham have not won a major trophy since 1980, so they will be desperate to beat their London rivals on Wednesday night, but they will have to be at their very best, if they are to have any chance of progressing through to the next round.
