West Ham United travel to take on Manchester City tonight.

West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini has told The Mirror that he thinks goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is having a ‘brilliant season’.
The Hammers saw Adrian and Joe Hart share goalkeeping duties last season without much success, so it was no surprise when they went into the transfer market for a new goalkeeper over the summer.
Their decision to move for Fabianski raised a few eyebrows though, firstly because he’d just suffered relegation to the Championship with Swansea City.
Add in that the last time Fabianski played for a London club, he was seen as a joke figure at Arsenal before really making a name for himself as a quality stopper at Swansea.
The Pole, 33, has played every single minute of West Ham’s campaign so far this season, and has made 105 saves in 27 games this season – the only goalkeeper to register over 100 saves this season.
Whilst his arrival didn’t exactly grab headlines, Fabianski has been a solid performer throughout the campaign, and has now been hailed by boss Pellegrini.

Ahead of tonight’s game against Manchester City, Pellegrini has admitted that he thinks Pellegrini has been ‘brilliant’ this season, and whilst he doesn’t know why he didn’t play much at Arsenal, he thinks Fabianski has been one of the best Premier League goalkeepers this term.
“Without comparing other goalkeepers, I think Lukasz has had a brilliant season so far and hopefully he will finish it in the same way,” said Pellegrini. “He had some opportunities a few years ago at Arsenal, and I don’t know why he didn’t play too much, but he has been one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League this season. He’s been the perfect professional in every sense – always listening to his coach, always working hard, and there are no problems if he does not play,” he added.
