West Ham United take on Macclesfield Town in the Carabao Cup later this evening.

Manuel Pellegrini has told West Ham United’s official website that he will rotate for this evening’s fixture with Macclesfield Town.

West Ham are set to host the League Two side in a match which they are heavy favourites to win.

And Pellegrini wants to utilise the opportunity to get some of his squad players important minutes in a competitive fixture.

He said: “I have every confidence that we will be in the right frame of mind. This fixture will give us the opportunity to utilise our squad and bring in players who have not had as many minutes in the Premier League recently, and I am sure they will be hungry to do well.”

The likes of Robert Snodgrass, Carlos Sanchez and Lucas Perez could all be given the nod to start in the contest this evening.

West Ham go into the clash having beaten AFC Wimbledon to get to this stage.

West Ham have eased concerns over their last two fixtures, after picking up four points in the Premier League, and a comfortable victory will be expected later.

Macclesfield have struggled in League Two so far this season, and should not pose any threat to Pellegrini’s side.
