West Ham United were quite simply woeful against Wolves last night.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini spoke to reporters after his side’s woeful performance against Wolves, and delivered a scathing criticism of his players, suggesting that it is impossible for them to play any worse, as quoted by Football.London.
The Hammers have been in miserable form since beating Arsenal earlier this month, losing games against Bournemouth, AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup, and then away at Wolves last night.
West Ham now sit in 11th spot in the Premier League table, four points adrift of seventh placed Wolves, and following heavy summer investment, that is quite clearly not good enough for the east London outfit.
Pellegrini addressed the media last night, and did not hold back when discussing his team’s performance, admitting that it was difficult to understand, as quoted by Football.London:

“No shots on target and we conceded three goals, it is impossible to play worse. It is difficult to understand what we did. There are a lot of reasons for us to try and understand what is happening. We need to review all that we are doing because there are some things we are doing very bad.”
Things don’t get any easier for West Ham, with a home game against Liverpool next up on the agenda.
Pellegrini will be expecting a massive reaction from his players, however, following their dismal display last night.
West Ham need to start winning games on a more consistent basis, if they are to finish inside the top seven, and they must find a way of eliminating the types of performance that they put in at Molineux last night if they are to achieve European football for next season.
