West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini has shown great in faith in Jack Wilshere so far this season.
Wilshere has started both of West Ham’s matches so far this season, but is yet to impress.
The England international midfielder has been substituted off early in both of West Ham’s first two games.
And Pellegrini admits that he is hoping that Wilshere gets better with more game time under his belt.
“Jack is coming back from long injuries. The same happened with Carlos Sanchez and Andriy Yarmolenko. We hope, with every game, he will improve,” Pellegrini said.
Pellegrini has shown great faith in Wilshere, but there are question marks starting to form over whether injuries have just hindered the midfielder too much.
Wilshere has looked a shadow of his former self ever since he joined West Ham, and looks way off the pace currently.
The Hammers are still looking for their first win of the season, and it remains to be seen whether Pellegrini will keep faith in Wilshere at the weekend.
West Ham’s next match comes against Watford on Saturday.
