Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham United side look set to finish in mid-table this season.

Pellegrini has never previously failed to qualify for a European tournament during his managerial career, but he has not managed that objective at the London Stadium.
West Ham just haven’t had the consistency required to break into the top seven.
But Pellegrini is eager to ensure that his team improves next season.
“I have come to a big club, the Premier League is the best league in the world so I am of course happy,” Pellegrini said.
“I also want to do it better, this is the first time I have not qualified for Europe so I hope that next season we will do it.”
West Ham are expected to spend over the summer in the hope of making some improvements.

The Hammers have already been linked with a range of players, as Pellegrini looks to strengthen his squad.
West Ham have shown their potential on occasions this term, and their recent win away at Tottenham Hotspur was particularly eye catching.
Pellegrini’s men are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table, with their next match coming against Southampton at the weekend.
