West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini admits he didn’t expect Sebastian Haller to net three goals in his first three games.

Haller joined West Ham and made a blistering start at the London Stadium, as he scored three goals in his first three appearances.
However, Haller has only hit the back of the net for West Ham on one occasion since.
And Pellegrini admits that Haller’s fast start actually surprised him, and the 25-year-old is starting to realise the difficulties of the Premier League now.
“With Sebastien Haller, I think he’s not doing bad, but I think that he can do better also,” Pellegrini said.
“It’s always difficult for different players who come from another league to start in the Premier League. I think that he started better maybe than we expected.
“Now he must get used to making other movements inside the box and the way we play, because we need to score more goals as a team.”

In Haller’s defence, West Ham have not provided him with anywhere near enough service in recent weeks.
The Hammers’ creative options have been out of sorts, with the likes of Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini taking on board some criticism of late.
West Ham were beaten 2-0 by Everton in their last match, and Haller was feeding on scraps throughout, as Pellegrini’s men put in a poor display.
West Ham are next in action against Sheffield United tomorrow, and they will be be desperate to get back to winning ways.
