West Ham United striker Andy Carroll could reportedly be an option for Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic.

According to The Sunday Post, West Ham striker Carroll could be an option for Celtic this month.
It has been reported that Celtic have told agents that they are looking to sign two strikers next month.
One of the options, according to the report, is West Ham striker Carroll, who worked with Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool.
West Ham manager Pellegrini, though, has made it clear that the 29-year-old striker is not going to leave the London Stadium in the January transfer window.
Pellegrini told Sky Sports about Carroll: “Andy will still be here with us, he is an important player for us.
“He is just coming back from a long, long injury, and the way he is taking advantage of his minutes he will return to the player that we all know.”

Sensible decision
Carroll would be a good signing for Celtic in the January transfer window despite his injury problems, but it makes sense for West Ham to keep hold of the former Liverpool and Newcastle United striker.
After all, the Hammers have injury problems, and a fit Carroll is a major asset to have even on the substitutes’ bench.
