The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Juventus are planning to hold talks with Sassuolo over the signing of Locatelli in the next few hours.
The Italy international midfielder wants to move to Juve, but Arsenal remain keen on the 23-year-old.
The Gunners have been ready with a bid for weeks, but the North London club are waiting to see what happens between Juventus and Locatelli.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio is also reporting about an imminent meeting between Juventus and Sassuolo, adding that Arsenal are interested.
Following the imminent meeting between the two Italian clubs, Arsenal will get a better idea whether or not they will be able to sign Locatelli.
