The Swansea City midfielder will spend the rest of the season with the League Two club.
League Two side Mansfield Town have signed Swansea City midfielder Adam King on loan for the rest of the season.
The 22-year-old was the subject of interest from several League One clubs but Mansfield managed to secure his services, as reported by the club’s official website.
King has made just two senior appearances for Swansea so far but has gained valuable experience of first-team football during loan spells with Crewe Alexandra and Southend United.
The Scotland youth international was especially impressive during his stint with Crewe in the 2015/16 season as he scored five goals and provided three assists in 26 games.
Making the breakthrough into the first-team at Swansea will be a difficult task for King, but this loan move provides the youngster with an opportunity to impress other potential suitors ahead of a possible permanent move elsewhere.
King has developed well since he joined Swansea from Hearts in 2014 and is a neat distributor of the ball, while he is also an impressive dribbler.
It is anticipated that King could make his debut for Mansfield in Saturday’s game at home to Barnet.
