Some Real Madrid fans on social media are over the moon after it was reported that Dani Carvajal will be back fit for their Champions League clash against Liverpool.
Los Blancos’ campaign so far hasn’t gone to plan, but the Champions League is where Madrid thrive, and it seems as though their chances of beating Jurgen Klopp’s side have increased after it was reported that their first-choice right-back will be fit for this clash.
Carvajal will certainly have a big job on his hands against Liverpool, defending against Sadio Mane is an unenviable task for even the best right-backs in the world, but Carvajal is certainly better-equipped to handle the task than Lucas Vasquez.
Liverpool of course come into this game with their own injury problems, Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez remain sidelined, but it seems as though Madrid will now have one less problem to worry about.
