Manchester United have wrapped up a hectic summer window that saw several big names both join and leave the club.
Following a challenging first half of the year under Ruben Amorim, Manchester United brought in five new faces during the summer window.
Ineos focused heavily on improving the attack, bringing in Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko to strengthen the forward line.

United have managed just one win from their opening four games. However, results should pick up once the new signings start to settle in after the September international break.
The club also parted ways with several players, including Alejandro Garnacho and Antony, while Marcus Rashford was among those sent out on loan.
Who came out ahead in Manchester United’s transfer window
Senne Lammens: Senne Lammens made the switch from Royal Antwerp to United this summer, stepping into a role that had already been under the spotlight in the early part of the season. While he doesn’t bring a wealth of experience just yet, the club is confident this data-driven move will pay off down the line.
Marcus Rashford: Fresh off a loan spell with Aston Villa, Marcus Rashford was eyeing a move to Barcelona. That deal eventually came through, giving him another shot at Champions League football. United are likely hoping to cash in on him next summer.

Bryan Mbeumo: After years of solid performances for Brentford, Bryan Mbeumo finally got his chance with one of the league’s bigger sides. Old Trafford looks like it could be a good fit for him.
Antony: Antony never quite found his form at United, but his time on loan in Spain caught Real Betis’ attention again. With his heart set on Betis, getting that deal done on deadline day has to feel like a win for him.

Matheus Cunha: Matheus Cunha brings experience from top European clubs and is now looking to help Manchester United get back to where they belong. He’s got all the tools needed to play a big part in their push forward.
Benjamin Sesko: After missing out on Liam Delap, who ended up at Chelsea, United turned their focus to Benjamin Sesko. The 22-year-old had already shown promise at RB Leipzig and now has an opportunity to prove himself in England.
Who didn’t benefit from United’s transfer moves
Andre Onana: After two inconsistent seasons as United’s first-choice goalkeeper, Andre Onana found himself under real pressure this summer. Despite rumours of a possible move away, he stayed put but has now slipped down the pecking order. Altay Bayindir has started more matches so far, and the late signing of Lammens only adds to his problems.
Emiliano Martinez: Emiliano Martinez had been expecting a fresh start at Old Trafford after saying an emotional farewell to Aston Villa fans last season. However, he remains at Villa Park after pushing for a move that never came through. Instead, United opted for Senne Lammens, leaving Martinez sidelined and without an appearance so far this campaign.

Rasmus Hojlund: A move to Serie A champions Napoli should be seen as a big step forward for Rasmus Hojlund, but it wasn’t the outcome he wanted. The Danish striker was hoping to stay and compete for his place at United until Ruben Amorim left him out of the squad for the first four games. It wasn’t meant to be for Hojlund at Old Trafford, but fans will wish him well in Italy.
Kobbie Mainoo: While United supporters are glad that Kobbie Mainoo is still with the club, there are concerns about how much he’ll play under Amorim this season. The 20-year-old midfielder is said to be competing directly with Bruno Fernandes for a spot in the side, which could limit his opportunities – not ideal during a World Cup year. Mainoo even considered going out on loan to get more minutes.
