Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United will face Manchester United next month.

Premier League club United will take on Championship side Leeds in a pre-season friendly match in Perth, Australia on July 17.
The Red Devils and the Whites are massive rivals, and it is the first time that the two clubs will lock horns with each other since September 2011.
Lindelof has said that he is looking forward to facing Leeds, and the 24-year-old – who joined United from Benfica in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £31 million – is also looking forward to playing against his Sweden international central defender Pontus Jansson.
Lindelof told United’s official website: “I’ve never played against them but I’ve heard about the rivalry with Leeds of course. Even if it is a pre-season game, I think it’s going to be a tough one.
“I have a Swedish friend playing there so it’s also going to be fun. I’m looking forward to that game.”

Hopes for next season
United will be aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League next season after a disappointing 2018-19 campaign.
As for Leeds, the West Yorkshire outfit finished in the Championship playoffs this past season, and Bielsa’s side will be determined to end up in the automatic promotion spots in 2019-20.
