West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion, Swansea City, Burnley and Watford have all been linked with Manchester United winger Ashley Young.
Manchester United do not want Ashley Young to leave in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
According to the British tabloid, Young asked United manager Jose Mourinho to go out on loan for the rest of the season.
That request was denied, according to the report, as the Red Devils want him to remain part of the squad in order to enhance their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League, and remain in the FA Cup and the Europa League.
According to The Sun, West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion, Swansea City, Burnley and Watford have all been had all made contact with United about a short-term deal deal.
It seems that United’s reported stance over Young would disappoint all those aforementioned clubs.
Young has featured in four Premier League appearances for United so far this season, creating one chance in the process.
The Red Devils are sixth in the league table at the moment with 41 points from 22 matches, just four points behind Liverpool, who are currently fourth in the standings and occupy the final Champions League spot.
