Manchester United have been linked with two mightily impressive deals.

Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal celebrates victory after the Emirates FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Chelsea at Wembley Stadium on May 27, 2017 in London, England.

Manchester United have been linked with deals for two big name stars this January.

BBC Sport report United are favourites to sign Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, while SkySports tip the Red Devils to land Lucas Moura from PSG.

Lucas Moura #7 of Paris Saint-Germain tries to break away from Radja Nainggolan #4 of AS Roma during the second half at Comerica Park on July 19, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

Either player will improve United, and both could transform their attacking options, even if it means selling Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Here is a look at how Jose Mourinho could line his side up…

United would be spoiled for choice in attack, and this XI leaves out in form winger Jesse Lingard, along with his fellow England international Marcus Rashford.

Juan Mata is another talented attacker for who there is no room, along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan if he stays.

Alexis Sanchez is versatile enough to play up front, or on the wings, and United could play him out wide and put Mata or Lingard in the middle, and sacrifice Martial.

Lucas Moura is a natural right winger whose pace and trickery has been lacking from recent United sides.

It might be too late for this year’s title race, but by signing the pair, United will be setting themselves up for future success.
