Luke Shaw is preparing for Manchester United’s FA Cup clash with Arsenal on Monday.
Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has tweeted ahead of his side’s FA Cup quarter-final against Arsenal on Monday evening.
The England international sent a message to three Gunners players that he knows very well, with Calum Chambers and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain former teammates of his at Southampton and Jack Wilshere a fellow player for the Three Lions.
“Prepared for tomorrow’s game,” Shaw wrote, “See you tomorrow lads. Game on.”
Arsenal are the current FA Cup holders while United are hoping to end Louis van Gaal’s first season in charge with some silverware.
The fact that the match is at Old Trafford should give United the advantage but Arsenal will have seen van Gaal’s side stutter at times this season and know they have the players to get the better of them on the night.
That said, United continue to grind out results and they will know that if they can beat Arsenal they will guarantee a trip to Wembley for the semi-finals, with one of their biggest rivals for the trophy eliminated.
