Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United come up against a familiar enemy this summer.

Manchester United’s Lee Grant has admitted that he’s ‘intrigued’ by Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa.
Leeds and the Red Devils renew hostilities for a friendly in Australia on July 17.
Even though Bielsa’s side are unlikely to face the Premier League giant’s first team, it’ll be interesting to see how the Whites fare against them.
The Elland Road club have come a long way under Bielsa after their high-profile appointment of the eccentric Argentine last summer, and narrowly missed out on promotion last term.
The 63-year-old – nicknamed El Loco, the Crazy One – has inadvertently drawn attention to himself quite a lot since arriving in England, and Grant reveals that some of the Spanish lads in United’s dressing room are always talking about him.
He told Man United’s official website: “He’s really interesting, he seems like a large character, but what I will say as well is he is thought of really highly by a lot of the Spanish contingent in our squad.
“The more and more I read about him, the more intrigued I am. He’s a really interesting character.”
It was big news when Leeds hired Bielsa, given that he had managed Athletic Bilbao, Lazio, Marseille and Argentina’s national side.
He looks every inch the master tactician that he’s billed to be so far but, having failed to go up last term, there is much more pressure on him to deliver promotion next time around.
