Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has shown his support for Tottenham Hotspur star Hugo Lloris on Twitter.

Lloris has suffered a nasty injury during Tottenham’s ongoing Premier League game against Brighton and Hove Albion away from home.

After just three minutes, the Frenchman made a bad mistake and allowed Neal Maupay to score for the home team.

The 32-year-old suffered a bad elbow injury while trying to make a save from the initial effort on goal and was given oxygen on the pitch, as reported by The Mirror.

Lloris has been stretchered off, and it remains to be seen how serious his injury is.

United goalkeeper De Gea has shown his support to Lloris on Twitter, while former Liverpool striker Michael Owen believes that it is a dislocated shoulder and ex-Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar has criticised the former Lyon star.

As things stand, Spurs are 2-0 down to Brighton, and the North London outfit need to step up their game if they are to get anything from the match this afternoon.
