Manchester United attacker Adnan Januzaj backs his compatriot and Chelsea winger Eden Hazard to win the FIFA Ballon d’Or one day.

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has been tipped by many to win the FIFA Ballon d’Or in the future, and joining the queue of the Belgian’s admirers is his compatriot and Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj.

Januzaj has been playing alongside Hazard for less than six months for the Belgium national team, but the duo have become good friends.

The 19-year-old United attacker, considered by many as one of the most promising young players in the world, is full of praise for the Chelsea star and believes that he has all the attributes to win the Ballon d’Or one day.

‘He has all the qualities to be a future Ballon d’Or winner’, Januzaj told Squawka.com. ‘Me and Eden have a good relationship. When I go to international duty, we hang out together and we laugh and laugh a lot. He’s a very good friend to me as well’.

Hazard was one of the best players in the Premier League last season and arguably the Blues’ best, as Jose Mourinho’s side finished third in the league.

The 23-year-old Belgian has started the 2014-15 season positively too, although much of the attention has been on the truly brilliant start from Chelsea’s summer signings Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas.

Hazard is a genuinely superb footballer who at 23 has many years left to reach his peak. However, whether or not the former Lille star wins the Ballon d’Or in the very near future depends on the form of Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.
