£19 million bid from Everton not deemed sufficient.
Manchester United have reportedly rejected a bid for Morgan Schneiderlin from Everton worth £19 million, The Guardian report.
The Red Devils are said to be holding out for more, up to £24 million, with West Bromwich Albion also interested.

United are likely to let Schneiderlin leave before the transfer window is out, with the Frenchman surplus to requirements, but their stance displays a change in strategy.
United’s transfer market approach has long been flawed. Spending huge fees on players like Paul Pogba and Angel di Maria is one thing, but letting talented players go for minimal prices is another.
Two summers ago United let go of Robin van Persie for a ridiculously small fee, allowing him to join Fenerbahce for a fraction of the £24 million they spent on him two years earlier. The Metro reported it was as little as £3.8 million.

Another player sold at a cut price figure was Rafael da Silva, with The Guardian reporting Lyon signed him for just £2.5 million.
United’s approach with Schneiderlin shows they are becoming a bit more hard nosed and less charitable, perhaps a reflection of no nonsense boss Jose Mourinho, or CEO Ed Woodward realising the error of his ways.
