Callum Gribbin has scored a stunning goal against Barcelona, reminiscent of Argentine superstar Lionel Messi.

Despite splashing exorbitant amounts of money to sign world-class players in recent times, Manchester United have remained a club which is open to giving their youth products a chance, and young Callum Gribbin has widely been tipped to be the next player to break into the first team in the foreseeable future.
Gribbin is a talented two-footed midfielder and his performances for the Manchester United Under-19s have earned him comparisons with club legend Ryan Giggs.

Gribbin clearly has a long way to go before he is able to even come close to Giggs’ achievements for United but the youngster seems to be heading in the right direction and he enjoyed a wonderful campaign in the Otten Cup recently.
United’s Under-19 side finished runners-up in the competition but they enjoyed a fine run to the final and one of the highlights of the tournament was Gribbin’s wonderful solo goal in the 2-1 victory over Barcelona in the semi-final stages.

Picking the ball up on the edge of the opposition box, Gribbin jinked his way around four Barcelona defenders before slotting the ball home, and the goal most certainly has a lot of likeness to a typical Lionel Messi strike.
Fans were quick to draw comparisons,
Despite scoring a Messi-esque goal, Gribbin went celebration in a fashion very similar to that of former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo and it looks like the 17-year-old has the confidence to go along with his immense talent.
