According to The Sun, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be the new full-time Manchester United manager, not Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Solskjaer was appointed as the United caretaker-manager in December 2018 following the departure of Jose Mourinho.

According to a report in The Manchester Evening News last month, Tottenham boss Pochettino is on the radar of United.

The Sun has now claimed that the Red Devils have decided that the full-time managerial role will go to Solskjaer, and that the Premier League and European giants may not announce the decision until the end of the season.

Relief for Tottenham Hotspur fans

What Pochettino is doing at Tottenham is absolutely stunning, and there is no surprise that the former Southampton manager has reportedly been on the radar of United.

With the Red Devils have reportedly decided that Solskjaer will be their full-time manager, Spurs fans will be relieved that Pochettino will stay at the North London club.

While Spurs are challenging for the Premier League title this season, United are aiming to finish in the top four.
