Keepy Uppy champion Dan Magness set a new World Record last night, breaking the 186-mile previous best while walking from Wembley to Old Trafford and will complete the challenge today.

Perhaps when he hangs up his boots from the professional game, he’ll have a go, but Dan Magness has set a big challenge to beat.
To support Soccer Aid and UNICEF, Magness has been busy on a enduring 10 day ‘keepy uppy’ challenge – all the way from London to Manchester – 200 miles in all.
He set off from Wembley on May 1, will reach Old Trafford, home of Manchester United, today ending his challenge on the pitch itself.
As well as passing through several towns and cities along the way, he has had to negotiate busy roadsides, and has stopped off at schools and to do radio interviews along his route.
The previous world record was 186 miles, which he broke last night, and he will complete the final stretch into Manchester United’s stadium today. (Fri 11)
Soccer Aid takes place on May 27, and was launched by pop star Robbie Williams in 2010, and features a celebrity football match at Old Trafford.
