Manchester United need to offload Luke Shaw so they can make a move for Tottenham’s Danny Rose so should Everton renew their interest?

The Red Devils have been interested in Rose for some time and it is believed the left-back would welcome a move to Old Trafford, with Spurs lining up Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon as his replacement.

Where next for Shaw?
So if Shaw is to leave United what next for the 22-year-old? Well perhaps Everton could renew the interest that the Daily Star claimed they had in the England international during the January transfer window.
At the time it was believed the Toffees were keen on a loan move for Shaw and maybe that could remain a possibility, but either way a switch to Merseyside could suit all parties.

The defender and Jose Mourinho have certainly had their differences and while the Englishman has had more game time recently, is far from fulfilling the potential he showed when first breaking through as a teenager at Southampton.
Meanwhile, Everton are in need of recruitment on the left side of defence with veteran Leighton Baines having been injured for much of the season and usual right-back Cuco Martina failing to impress when filling in there as a result.
