A round up of transfer stories about Manchester United this morning.

Manchester United continue to be linked with a move to sign Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen.

The Belgian struggled to get regular football with the Gunners last season and reports yesterday suggested a deal had been agreed.

However, Vermaelen’s agent dismissed the stories, but speculation is ongoing over a move to Old Trafford.

Netherlands left-back Daley Blind has played down rumours of a move to Manchester United.

Speculation has been building since Holland’s 5-1 win over Spain that the Feyenoord star could be lured into an Old Trafford switch.

“The link with Man United is easily made, because Robin [van Persie] is playing there and van Gaal takes over next season,” he told reporters.

Serbian goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic has told a Russian website that he’s agreed a deal to join Manchester United.

His comments back up an official report which was published on United’s website recently.

“I know that the clubs agreed, and my agent and I now can not wait to be told by Manchester scout Budimir Vujacic about agreeing the last details of my transfer,” said the ‘keeper.
