Reported Manchester United target and Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is way ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Kyle Walker-Peters in the right-back pecking order when it comes to English talent.

Over a year ago, Tottenham Hotspur youngster Kyle Walker-Peters would have been more well-known than Crystal Place defender and Manchester United target Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Yet, since then, he has leapfrogged him in some style.
As reported by Sky Sports, after a successful season at Selhurst Park during the recently concluded campaign, Wan-Bissaka is now a target for Manchester United, who will need to cough up £60 million if they want to snap him up.
At the start of the 2017/18 Premier League campaign, Mauricio Pochettino gave Walker-Peters his Tottenham debut, and he impressed away at Newcastle United. He appeared sparingly, thereafter, just like he did this season, with one of his standout performances being at Barcelona in the Champions League.
At the age of 21, Wan-Bissaka has taken his game to the next level because he played on a regular basis last season something Walker-Peters, 22, has not been doing and needs to do.
There is a huge amount of talent within Walker-Peters, but he just needs that platform to express himself. At this moment in time, he’s not getting it at Tottenham, and with the summer transfer window open, he should decide to move out on loan.

There’s no reason why he can’t impress just like Wan-Bissaka did last season if he were to play on a regular basis next season because he has the attacking talent and calmness in his game to produce the goods.
It remains to be seen what happens at Tottenham this summer and what areas Mauricio Pochettino decides to strengthen. If he opts to sell a Kieran Trippier, and then push Walker-Peters up the pecking order then he should remain where he is.
But if that doesn’t happen then it is time for the London-born player to finally show what he’s about because he can no doubt produce the goods for those teams outside of the top seven.
