Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga has allegedly come to a decision on his next club – and it is unlikely to be Everton.

Everton look set to miss out on Anthony Elanga again amid claims the Manchester United winger knows his next club.

That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Elanga has already decided which club he will be joining this summer.

Sadly for Everton, a move to Merseyside doesn’t appear to be in Elanga’s plans.

It’s stated that Everton is ‘unlikely’ to be the next move for Elanga, though his preferred destination isn’t known.

Nottingham Forest a strong contender for Anthony Elanga

The Athletic reported just last week that Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Elanga.

Forest were also eyeing up Willian, but the winger has decided to stay with Fulham instead of moving to the City Ground.

That means Forest could ramp up their interest in alternative targets – such as Elanga.

Forest are already negotiating with United for the signature of goalkeeper Dean Henderson and could look to make that a double move by adding in Elanga.

Following Henderson to the City Ground may well appeal to Elanga, or maybe there is a mysterious third club joining the race.

Manchester United’s Elanga price tag going up

The Manchester Evening News report that United went into the summer transfer window wanting around £10million for Elanga.

United previously priced Elanga at around £20million but his lack of football last season meant they halved the price in an attempt to sell him on.

The report claims that interest from Everton and Forest means United’s valuation is now going back up again, seemingly hoping for a bidding war.

A move to Everton is considered unlikely now but we still may see United rake in around £12million to £15million for Elanga.

The 21-year-old clearly has talent but is in danger of stalling at Old Trafford after just five Premier League starts last season.

Everton need an attacking spark and Elanga could have provided it, but unless there is a change in the situation, heading to Goodison Park seems to be a fading possibility.
