Manchester United talent Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is still reeling from his nightmare Leeds United spell.

Borthwick-Jackson signed on loan at Leeds in August, with ESPN reporting he turned down Ajax to make the move.

His deal at Leeds was terminated in January after he failed to impress and claim the left-back spot vacated by Charlie Taylor.

Borthwick-Jackson’s failure is currently being highlighted by top talent Tom Pearce.

Pearce 19, is two years younger than the Manchester United full-back, who had Premier League experience under Louis van Gaal.

He was thrown into the Leeds team due to an injury crisis, and he is proving to be a real find.

The former Everton trainee scored at the weekend in the 2-1 win over Barnsley, which Borthwick-Jackson never came close to doing during his stint at Elland Road.

It has taken Leeds a whole season, but they might finally have found a replacement for Charlie Taylor, who was under their noses the entire time.

Leeds deserve credit for cutting their losses with Borthwick-Jackson when they did, and Pearce’s success should have the United talent asking himself big questions.
