Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have been linked with Manchester United’s Luke Shaw in the January transfer window.

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has struggled to play regularly this season, and it does not come as a surprise that the left-back has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United in the January transfer window.
According to The Guardian, Tottenham have already enquired about Shaw, who worked with Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino at Southampton.

The Sun has claimed that Newcastle are interested in signing the 22-year-old left-back, who reportedly earns £130,000 per week at United.
Spurs could do with a young left-back, and Newcastle need to address that position if they are to avoid the drop to the Championship at the end of the season.

United, though, are reportedly not eager to sell Shaw in the January transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, the United hierarchy believe that the former Southampton star can be a success at Old Trafford and want to let him develop.
Shaw has been on the books of United since the summer of 2014 when he joined from Southampton for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £27 million.
