Manchester United will let Newcastle United target Dean Henderson leave on loan in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.

What’s the story?

The Sun are reporting that Manchester United are ready to sanction an 18-month loan deal for Henderson when the transfer window opens in January.

David de Gea has re-established himself as the number one between the posts at Old Trafford.

So, the Red Devils are willing to let Henderson leave on loan.

The Premier League and European giants are actually ready to sanction an 18-month loan deal.

Encouraging for Newcastle United

Manchester United’s reported stance on Henderson is a positive for Newcastle.

Why?

Well, because the Magpies have been linked with the 24-year-old England international goalkeeper.

The Daily Mail reported this month that Newcastle want to sign the goalkeeper in the January transfer window.

Could Dean Henderson to Newcastle happen?

Now, Newcastle may want Henderson, but it is going to be hard for the Magpies to convince him to move to St. James’ Park.

After all, the 24-year-old, who earns £100,000 per week as well (Spotrac), is going to face the same problem he is having at Old Trafford.

Karl Darlow, Martin Dubravka, Freddie Woodman and Mark Gillespie are the goalkeepers at Newcastle.

Dubravka is the number one when he is fit and available.
