Manchester United fans want Kieran Tierney from Celtic, in exchange for Scott McTominay.

The Daily Record have reported how Celtic want McTominay, as they plan to improve their squad in the January transfer window.

But United supporters are hoping to use Brendan Rodgers’ side’s interest in the midfielder to their advantage.

Any trade deal with United for Tierney does look very unlikely, as Celtic will want to keep the left-back.

Rodgers has consistently raved about Tierney during his time in charge at Parkhead, with the Scottish international a real fans’ favourite.

Tierney arguably would improve United’s starting line-up if he was to move to Old Trafford, as he could be an upgrade on Luke Shaw.

But Celtic would demand huge money for the full-back, and any deal looks highly unlikely in January.
