Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are now reportedly trying to sign Sofyan Amrabat ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and David Moyes’s West Ham United.

90min has reported that Manchester United, Liverpool and West Ham United all are interested in signing Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that the Red Devils have spoken with Amrabat’s representatives and are keen on bringing the Morocco international defensive midfielder to Old Trafford.

Fiorentina are willing to sell the 26-year-old this summer and want £25.9 million for him.

90min has added that Liverpool and West Ham are also keen on the defensive midfielder, but despite making “early enquiries”, they “have not yet advanced their interest”.

The Athletic and The Times reported this month that Liverpool want to sign Amrabat as a potential replacement for Brazilian star Fabinho, who is on the verge of moving to Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad.

Liverpool should step up pursuit of Manchester United target Sofyan Amrabat

In our opinion, if Liverpool are really keen on Sofyan Amrabat, then they simply have to step up their pursuit of the Manchester United target.

Erik ten Hag’s side are in talks with the Morocco star’s agents and are actively trying to sign him.

Liverpool need to do the same.

After all, Fiorentina are willing to sell the midfielder for £26 million.

And he is only 26 at the moment.

Amrabat’s best years are ahead of him.

For £26 million, Liverpool would be able to sign a player who could grow and develop further under manager Jurgen Klopp.

Amrabat is a very experienced player who played for Morocco at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and was described as a “crazy player” by Tuttosport director Guido Vaciago in Tuttomercatoweb in December 2022.

We believe that Liverpool could miss out on Amrabat if they wait for long in the summer transfer window.
