Paulo Fonseca may have been snubbed by Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, but he could end up at Manchester United.

We’ve all seen Fonseca’s name linked with various Premier League jobs in 2021.

The Portuguese boss just won’t go away – he’s desperate for a job in England’s top flight.

Fonseca – snubbed by Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa

First it was Tottenham. After leaving Roma, Fonseca was the top choice to replace Jose Mourihno – the man who took his Roma job.

A deal was done according to Fonseca, but Fabio Paratici pulled the plug as he wanted a more defensive manager at Tottenham.

Then it was Newcastle. Fonseca held talks with the Magpies and was confident of getting the job before Newcastle also went in another direction.

Aston Villa were linked, but they went for Steven Gerrard instead.

The rumours keep coming, but Fonseca remains out of a job.

Fonseca to Manchester United?

The Daily Mail claim that Fonseca is being considered by Manchester United for their vacancy.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked on Sunday morning and Untied want an interim manager.

Fonseca is now a key name in the frame for the job, with United thinking over a move.

A host of other names are linked too, but Fonseca could make a stunning to Old Trafford after so many snubs of late.
