Everton ace disappointed in weekend loss and it caught the eye of Manchester United fans.
Manchester United’s Morgan Schneiderlin talks to Wayne Rooney
Morgan Schneiderlin had hoped to make a big impression under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, but barely got a look in.
He was sold without starting a Premier League game in 2016/17, with Mourinho casting his eye over the Frenchman only in training and the odd Europa League game.
He saw enough to decide the French international was not right for him, and United put him up for sale in January after Schneiderlin handed in a transfer request.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane in action with Everton’s Morgan Schneiderlin
Schneiderlin signed for Everton and has had a strong start at the Toffees – until Sunday.
He was disappointing in his side’s 3-2 loss away to Tottenham Hotspur, and was at fault for one of the goals.
Schneiderlin managed just 51 touches in 90 minutes and attempted just two tackles in a forgettable individual display.
It was his seventh league appearance for Everton since signing, and one he will be keen to bounce back from, providing he retains his place.
With the match televised on Sky, Manchester United fans got the chance to check out their former midfielder in action.
It’s safe to say they weren’t impressed…
